Welcome to the website of Jake Files, State Senator from Fort Smith.  Jake was elected in 2010 and has served his district well by being an advocate for Economic Development, an effective leader in Little Rock, and a strong influence in his district. 

He identified his priorities during his last campaign as economic development and job creation while stemming the growth of government and keeping a watchful eye on Arkansas’ budget.  He was able to accomplish these goals and continue to work towards bringing the River Valley Region respect at the Capitol.
